New Fish A Musical
“New Fish” is the brain-child of Grace O’Malley, who, in conjunction with Ross O’Connor (Music, Lyrics, MD), Karl Harpur (Book) and Claire Tighe (Director, Choreographer, Associate Writer) staged this new musical in Smock Alley Theatre in October 2019. The show played to sold out audiences for every performance, received excellent reviews and garnered numerous nominations within the Broadway World Awards at the end of the year.
The Story
Anna is an Irish girl trying to make a splash in The West End. She arrives green and alone, but finds a new family in the Japanese restaurant where she works part time. This eclectic mix of personalities bring us on a journey of those who work to survive in London. There’s laughter and tears, as well as a very real story of loss laced throughout this quirky new musical that is full of heart and heartbreak.
